Announcing the 2024 Author’s Grove Writing Retreat

We’re thrilled to announce that the 2024 Author’s Grove Writing Retreat will take place in Fredericksburg, TX from October 7 – 11, 2024! More information about the retreat agenda and ticket pricing will be released in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out on our website for more information.

What To Expect

At our writing retreat, you’ll get a well-balanced mixture of productivity and fun. We’ll have designated time for you to work on fleshing out your characters, write your novel, get feedback on how to improve a chapter of your choice, and more. However, we want you to be able to enjoy Fredericksburg as well. We’ll have a variety of local activities planned that helps you get the most out of your trip. You’ll also be able to expand your writing network by meeting and growing closer with other writers attending the retreat.

About Fredericksburg

If you haven’t heard of Fredericksburg, it’s a quaint Texas town with German heritage. It is located in Texas Hill Country, an area well known for its numerous wineries. Main Street is where you’ll find most people exploring. There are plenty of shops, wine tasting rooms, and delicious restaurants for visitors to enjoy. Interested in history? Take a look into the past by visiting the National Museum of the Pacific War, Pioneer Museum, and other historic sites around the area. For those who enjoy nature, you have a number options from hiking to rock climbing to horseback riding.
